01 / The exam

Real tasks.
Your decisions.

Two tasks with the assistant and one set of questions, over 20 minutes.

The clock does not pause. The only AI you may use is the one the exam provides. At zero we submit work saved on the server by the deadline. You then answer the examiner's question about each draft.

An example of the task format. Your exam uses different questions approved by the Examination Board.

02 / Your result

AI examiners mark every exam, and while the Examination Board has not approved automatic release, a person reviews each result before you see it. People decide every appeal. Read the technical manual

How marking and sign-off work

An AI examiner marks your work against a marking guide and quotes your own words as evidence. A person checks anything borderline. You receive a rating for each area: Emerging, Developing, Proficient, Accomplished. A strong overall result cannot make up for an area below its minimum.

AI examiners mark your work. A person reviews each result before you see it, and we email you when it is ready. Every exam carries a documented starting pass mark, reviewed every two years. A panel replaces it once enough exams are marked.

Who signs off your result.

Reaching further
Using the assistant to produce work beyond what you could have produced alone, rather than the same work faster.
Briefing the assistant
Giving the assistant the reader, purpose and source facts the work depends on, and the form, length and contents you need back.
The finished piece
Turning the assistant's output into something a colleague could use: editing it, combining it and adding original thinking.
Checking its work
Checking the assistant's claims, figures and assumptions against the source before the work is used.
Safety and confidentiality
Handling confidential and personal data, seeing compliance, ethical and reputational risk, and declining unsafe requests.
Knowing what to delegate
Deciding what to hand to the assistant and what to keep, and at what stakes, before any output exists.
