For employers, schools and training providers
Work is changing.
Know your people’s AI skills.
Understand how people apply AI to the work that matters to you. Use practical evidence to inform hiring, focus development, see where your students stand, and recognise achievement.

For hiring and development
See how people
approach your work.
Give job candidates, employees or students a 15-minute task based on your brief. Review their work alongside the decisions they make with AI. Inviting people to your own exam is free.
Describe the work
Describe a task that matters for the role or the course. Say whether it is for hiring or development, and set the score you require, if any.
Invite your people
Paste or upload a list with each person's employee ID, department and group. Give extra time where someone needs it.
Review the evidence
Each score shows its margin of error and whether it met your required score. Beside it are the work, the AI conversation, what to ask next, and any integrity concerns.
Sign in to set up your exam. Reports are private and support your own judgement. A score is one input, never the only screen. Scores within two margins of error of the top are treated as level. This exam does not issue a public credential. How the margin of error is measured.
Evidence behind
the result.
The work
Lina briefed the assistant with the client’s claims and the platform rules. She removed an invented study and refused the targeting the assistant proposed.
Score
74 ± 6 out of 100. Your required score of 70: Met.
A strength to discuss
Gave the assistant the approved claims, the banned wording and the platform rules before asking for copy.
Ask in the interview
Which headline would you check again against the approved wording, and how?
Your full report includes scores for each area with their reasons, the submitted work, and the conversation with AI.
Records and audit
Records an auditor
can sign.
One records page lists everyone you invited, across every exam you set. Each row shows the employee ID, department and group, who invited them, and when they finished. It also shows the score with its margin of error, and Met or Not met against your required score.
Export it as a spreadsheet file. Or print an audit report with a sign-off block for a training grant, a funder or your own HR file. Every record is kept as it was marked and cannot be edited.
What your organisation controls
- Who you assess
- Choose employer (job candidates and your own employees) or school and training provider (your students) when the account is created. Each exam you set is for hiring or for development, and its report and wording follow that choice.
- Required score
- Set your own required score for each exam you set. Each person's record shows Met or Not met against it.
- Extra time
- Give a person 1.25, 1.5 or 2 times the standard time, in the invitation list or later from their row.
- People and roles
- Owners and admins invite colleagues, manage people, seats and keys; members run exams. Colleagues on your own email domain can join automatically if you turn it on.
- Branding
- Your logo and brand colour on the first page of the exam.
- Retention
- Keep transcripts and results until you delete them, or set a period of 30 days or more after which we delete them.
For team development
Give your team
skills they can prove.
Seats are for the Institute's credential exams; your own exams need none. Buy exam seats for your team. Each person takes an SIAA exam and earns a verifiable credential when they pass. To train the team first, AI+ Pro teaches the Institute's courses to teams; no course is required for the exam.
Each person receives detailed feedback. You see pass or not yet only with their consent.
Volume savings
More people.
Less per exam.
Fewer than 10 seats pay the individual price. One seat is one exam attempt. Candidates meet the same requirements and pass mark as individual buyers.
Prices before volume savings
Founding prices apply until 31 March 2027.

Security and data
Clear answers for
your due diligence.
Exam records and results are stored in Singapore. Candidate text is sent to AI providers to run and mark exams. Under our terms, those providers do not use it to train their models.
For security questions, contact registrar@straitsai.institute.
The Academic Board of the Straits Institute for Applied AI reviews the SIAA Standard. Meet the Academic Board
Security controls
- Names
- AI examiners and the people who check results see a candidate number, never a name or an email address.
- Marking guides
- Marking guides and answer keys never leave our servers: not the browser, not the assistant, not the API.
- Practice
- Practice is kept apart from the exam. An exam never draws a task the candidate has practised.
- Records
- Results, judgements, and follow-up answers cannot be edited or deleted after the fact by any part of the system.
- Sign-off
- The system refuses to issue a badge or level result without an examiner's sign-off. While the Examination Board has not approved automatic release, a person reviews every result before you see it.
- Consent
- A sponsor learns pass or not yet only if the candidate agreed when they redeemed the seat, and sees their rating in each area only if they also agreed to share it. Never their messages or answers.
- Register
- Verification reads only our own register, and the register cannot be listed in bulk.
- Keys and webhooks
- API keys are hashed at rest, scoped, quota-limited, and can be rotated or set to expire. Webhooks are signed with a timestamp, and every attempt is logged.
- Audit
- Every Examination Board action is logged with who took it. That includes opening an exam, setting a pass mark, revoking a credential and signing off the marking engine.

Record retention and identity data
Your organisation sets how long we keep the transcripts and results of its own exams. Keep them until you delete them, or set a period of 30 days or more. Records of the Institute's credential exams are kept for as long as reviews and the law require. Identity data is stored separately from exam content and results.
Data processing agreement
To request the agreement, email registrar@straitsai.institute with the subject “DPA request”.
Connect your learning or HR platform
The REST API lets you create exam credits, read group outcomes, verify credentials, and receive signed webhooks. The records page exports the same results as a spreadsheet file for systems without an API. Use sandbox keys to try the integration without a real exam.
