The Standard names 10 skills in People, HR and L&D. You can be examined on one of them, or on the function as a whole.
A badge names one skill: “Applied AI Badge: Lesson Planning”. The two titles name the function: “Applied AI Specialist (People, HR and L&D)”. Learn either any way you like; no book or course is required.

Manages people with AI-assisted planning and communication while keeping decisions and fairness human.

Gives feedback and runs performance conversations with AI preparation and human accountability.

Prepares and conducts interviews with AI and guards against bias in the process.
A credential for the whole function
Applied AI Specialist and Applied AI Strategist draw their tasks from the skills of one function. The briefs read like your own week, and the credential names People, HR and L&D on the public register. You hold both for life.
